During the East African Higher Institutions show (16-18 April 2010), IUCT, GET-IT (now HP LIFE) center in Uganda, displayed information on their own programs and promoted the GET-IT program. They emerged second runner up in the category of tertiary institutions.

Not only have they received many applicants who expressed their interest to join the GET-IT network, but a press clipping was published in the Newvision paper on April 28th, 2010.
