Spotlight: GET-IT Centres in Russia | |
 | GET-IT - Growing in Russia GET-IT is growing in Russia! It is expected that 22 GET-IT centres will be part of the GET-IT Russian Network by the end of the year. Fifteen centres are already providing GET-IT trainings thanks to our local partners. Find out more on GET-IT in Russia. Interview with Dr. Sergey Gorinkiy from ORT Russia This month, Dr. Sergey Gorinskiy, Deputy Director of the World ORT Representative office in Russia, answers our questions on GET-IT in the interview "Discovering the success of GET-IT technology through first hand experience" Being a GET-IT Student in Russia 2,500 students have been trained in our Russian training centres in the first year of the programme. GET in touch with the Network | |
 | GET-IT Networking call Since last month, HP and MEA-I are offering regular webinars to the GET-IT network. These calls, to which all GET-IT centres across the region are warmly invited, serve as a platform for fostering discussion among the centres. The GET-IT Networking call is your opportunity to hear about latest programme developments, ask HP your questions and get trained. Next call: 7 of April at 2pm CET. To receive the invitations to the networking calls, please register here. GET-IT Webinar training You are a GET-IT trainer and would like to learn more about new T-Tools topics? Participate in our Webinar training! During each bi-monthly GET-IT Networking call, Master Trainer Munir Ahmad will take 20 minutes to give you insights into the new topics developed for the T-Tools curriculum. Last month, the IT security topic was presented. The next topic is "web 2.0 - blogging for business" and will be presented on the next Networking Call on 7 April. Don't miss it!  | Help us increase the popularity of GET-IT City! In order to increase the reach of our GET-IT City portal, we kindly ask you to crosslink it to your website. More than 600 people have visited the new online GET-IT City portal and have participated to the competition to find a name for the online GET-IT City game. After careful review, "GET-security" has been selected! Congratulations to the Romanian winner who won an HP iPAQ! |
